había
Había means that something existed. It comes from haber and is written with h and b.
hay
Hay means that something exists (“there is”). Ay is an exclamation of pain or surprise.
ahí
Ahí points to a place, like aquí or allí, and has an accent on í. Hay means that something exists.
hecho
He hecho comes from hacer and keeps the h. Echo, without h, comes from echar.
echo
Echo comes from echar and here means to pour. It is written without h.
ha
Ha goes with terminado to form a verb tense (ha terminado). It comes from haber and has an h.
a
A shows where you are going. It is not the verb haber, so there is no h.
hacer
Hacer has a silent h, just like hago and hacemos.
huevo
Huevo is written with h before hue-, like hueso and huella.
