Iba comes from ir and is written with b, like iban and íbamos.

The ending -aba is written with b: estaba, cantaba, jugaba.

Tuvo comes from tener (to have). Tubo, with b, is a pipe.

Voy comes from ir and is written with v, like va and vamos.
